Via Tia Theresa comes a story about how a team of birds (they look like starlings) were discovered robbing a car wash Auto Cashier machine. Once it was figured out what was going on, the car wash owners recovered $4,000.00 in quarters from the roof of their business, as well as stashed around a nearby tree. As shown in these pictures, the birds would actually crawl up into the Auto Cashier, make their coin denomination selection and exit through the same route.

The photographic evidence suggests that the birds enter the Auto Cashier machine:
The bird enters the Auto Cashier

As in, ALL the way into the Auto Cashier machine: As in, all the way into the Auto Cashier

Exits with $0.75 Make withdrawal and exit.

Repeat… Repeats the process extracting another $0.25 to the tune of $4,000.00.

You’ve got me laughing out loud! That’s hilarious. Sneaky little buggers. I never did trust Starlings. :-)

In some corners of the world, they’d have their peckers knocked off … by that I mean their beaks. =)
