What I want for Christmas (Part 1)

As Jessica stated once, “2 minutes ago I didn’t know this existed, but now I HAVE to have one!” This is how I feel about the remaining Creature Comforts DVDs that I do not, as yet, own. And get this: In October 2007, Sony Entertainment is supposed to release the American version of Aardman’s Creature Comforts on DVD. Do I want it? OF COURSE I WANT IT! I want it with the vigor of an addict with laser-focused aim on the goal of getting another fix. It’s clearly the epitome of any DVD collection - the apogee of visual and audio stimulation - the zenith of humor.

I wonder how I can ask for both the Harry Potter books and the Creature Comforts DVD collection…. Here’s where I prognosticate the conversation!

“Honey? I want both the Harry Potter books and the Creature Comforts collection of DVDs.”

“Oh gawd….”

“C’mon!”

“Why both? Why not one or the other? Defer some pleasure, maybe.”

“OK. You can buy one for Christmas and then defer buying the other one until my birthday. No combination ChriBirthday presents this year.”

“Nuthin’ wrong with the ChriBirthday present. AAAAAllll the ChriBirthday present.”

“Oh gawd…”
