Controlling Spam

Not the canned lunch meat that comes with its own complimentary coating of meat jelly, but the unwanted intrusion of comments filled with nonsensical graffiti deposited by automated bots carving a swath of lost time and frustration visible from space. So, I’ve taken steps to prevent - or at least slow- spam from getting onto this website. You’ll now notice when you’re getting ready to submit a comment, there is a question just below the “Publish” button. Right now it’s very simple, but eventually I’ll configure the more interesting, picture-driven version to make things even easier. Also, I’ll work on getting the question placed above the Publish button - the way it is now is really rather stOOpid. If you’re curious, I’m using Captcha This!, and found it absurdly easy to install and configure for WordPress.
