Bright Shiny and New

Through diligence, patience, saving, and gentle hints like, “I really need a laptop of my very own. You got a new PC. You also got a new job. I don’t have anything new. In fact, the last new thing I bought was pants. And, I paid for those myself. I need a laptop to be a good student. You’re a good student and you have a new PC.” have paid off in spades as I sit here writing this on the bright, shiny new keyboard of a 15″ MacBook Pro.
It’s taken my picture and as you can see, the Mac has released my superpowers of shooting bright beams of light from my forehead. Beams of glee.
So, naturally, when Matthew came to see why I was giggling myself sick I turned the camera on him:
On the bliss. Oh the joy. Oh the my-very-own-laptop!
