Class Average

Posted by E-George on December 8, 2007

Here’s what everything’s worth in my Circuit Analysis II class, and what I’ve earned thus far.

Category Value My Current Value My Current Average
7 problem sets 20% 19.57% 97.85%
1 project 10% 10% 100%
3 exams 40% 32.52% 33.6% 81.3% 84%
Final 30%
My current class grade (62.09% 63.17% out of a possible 70%) 88.7% 90.2%

Not bad, not bad. Could be better. Ostensibly, if I can swing a 90% on the final, I could walk away with a 89.09% 90.17%. A 95% on the final would net me 90.6% 91.67%. A 70% on the final would kill, dropping my average to 83.09% 84.17%, and a 60% (i.e., failing) would give me 80.09% 81.17%. It seems that no matter what I’ll pass the class; ergo, there’s hope. Naturally, I’d like to try to swing as close to an A as I can, but my brain is so very tired, and forming complete sentences is so very hard, and remembering how to drive home is so very chancy that I’ll take what I can get on that final.
