My name is Elisa “George” Bohnsack neé Berg. I live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with my husband, Matthew were we work like fiends and are both pursuing higher education, although he’s far more successful at the “completion” aspect of that than I am.
I am the fourth child of five children who grew up in rural Veguita, New Mexico, and was home schooled through high-school graduation. Prior to graduation, I entered the full-time work force, and have never left, working for such luminaries as Radio Shack, Compa Industries, and RESPEC, Inc. Working has facilitated one of the greatest experiences of my life: Earning money that I can trade for goods and services. The exhilaration never grows old, even though I’m no impulse shopper.
I met my husband in 2003, while I was busy clawing my way out of a very dark and regrettable period of my life. He was my friend through it all, and a year later we started dating. No sense to get all gooshy here, so we’ll simply inject the popular colloquialism of “and, the rest is history” and leave it at that. We were married July 15, 2006 in a kickass outdoor event at Casas de Suenos (House of Dreams). A combination of a small crowd, a short ceremony presided over by Reverend Daniel Mueller, unbelievably good food from Stephanie & City Treats, an amazing music mix ala Beef, and an open bar all worked together to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. Plus, it was all packed in and done by 10:00pm. It doesn’t get much better than that.

Spenser Villwock (best man), and Jessica Dixon (matron of honor)
We’ve settled into our own little routine of work, work, more work, school, work, and yard maintenance. We live in a beautiful house in the far northeast heights of Albuquerque that has a mature crepe myrtle, rabbit bush, and an unbeatable backyard view. He’s growing to appreciate my acerbic wit, and I’m growing to love his task-dominated eating habits. My suspicion is that we’re happy.
